Highly recommended despite Zack's clearly biased agenda

“I began listening to My Marvelous Year without knowing a lot about what it was - just that I wanted to check out some Marvel Comics related podcasts. I have been completely sucked in! I originally read much of what the podcast has covered so far (up to 1972 at time of writing) through the Marvel Essentials black and white collections a while back and have loved hearing Dave and Zack talk about what's great and not-so-great about the early stuff. It's been so enjoyable that I've decided to get a Marvel Unlimited subscription and read along, so I'm looking forward to more great years!
With that being said, the podcast does suffer from one glaring problem - host Zack's bizarre agenda to discredit and destroy the characters of Stilt-Man and Rick Jones. These two beloved Marvel icons stand like twin Colossi of Rhoades astride the Marvel landscape, and it is difficult for me to witness a man embarrass himself as publicly as Zack has with his anti-SM and RJ diatribes. What could prompt a man to lash out in such an absurd and ridiculous fashion? Who hurt you Zack?

“Zack and Dave bring an entertaining look into Marvel Comic history. Their different perspectives and commentaries bring a complete analysis to the issues they cover. I now find myself conversing to my phone as I was in studio with them. Highly recommend”
