There has never been a more perfect podcast
That’s only a little bit of hyperbole. Mystery Show was a supernova—brief but beautiful. Starlee is a star podcaster (guess I’m going on with this space metaphor now), and I just loved going along for the ride as she solved “mysteries” of the little things in people’s lives. I’ve never gotten over the loss of this pod, and I’ve never given up hope that it might return. Heavyweight and Reply All’s “The Case of the Missing Hit” come close to MS’s brilliance but just don’t have that same brilliance. My life is a black hole without MS, and I hope (futilely, I know) that someday it will return.

Her delivery is adorable and hilarious, and the first story was very simple but still delightful to listen to. I look forward to more episodes.

Startup and ReplyAll hooked me right away, but Mystery Show's first episode didn't have the same effect. Seems like it could be a really interesting show, so we'll just have to wait and see.Read full review »
