Absolutely mesmerizing
I love love love Jason’s retellings (and Carissa’s audio production) of these stories. I am taking a long break from serialized tv and I find I can just fall into these stories so easily. Sometimes I listen while doing chores but lately I listen in bed and then accompany the podcast with google image searches of famous paintings about the myths I’m listening to. I don’t listen in order of episode though. I pick a topic and stick with it. I first listened to all the Arthurian legend tales, then all the Japanese fairy tale/folktales then all of the Arabian Nights, then all Viking/Scandinavian tales. I was avoiding Greco-Roman since they’re the ones I’m most familiar with but not I’m listening to all of them. I’ve just finished the Odyssey. I highly recommend these to anyone who likes stories (which should be everyone, lol). Also I have an ulterior motive. Dear Mr, Weiser, I would love more Grail and the end of the Odyssey. Also more Monkey King:)

Such a wonderful podcast! I usually finish a story giggling at the fabulous re-telling, and baffled by the strange and entertaining tales of old. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
