“I came for the mythology, stayed for the advice on how to escape monsters (spoiler alert: the main way to escape is not to go there in the first place).
This podcast is amazing, every time I listen to it I am enthralled by the story telling, I love following our heroes and heroines through war and peace, through marriage, betrayal, miraculous recoveries and the occasional slaying of dragons. I’ve been listening for about a year and it’s one of my favorite podcasts of all time, it never gets boring, and the story/myth/legend is beautifully told with the right balance of joking and seriousness. I also love the variety: Greek and Norse mythology are only part of the mix that also contains Persian mythology and Arthurian legends and stories from all over the world.
I recommend this to everyone, it is a joy to listen to a new episode every time.”
