Essential listening for patients!
As a patient with 2 “failed” back surgeries & chronic pain this podcast has been fantastic in educating myself on current thinking, affirming my thoughts/experiences & keeping a sense of humour. Altho I don’t understand a lot of the tech jargon, the style of blunt discussion, humour & simple analogies help. I appreciate the emphasis on debate & questioning of trials/evidence/experiences. I feel more empowered as a patient to question approaches (or my bugbear - reject suggestions from well meaning people based on an experience of 1 person with a completely different/unknown injury!).

Thoroughly enjoyed Erik’s discussion about the Boeing factory, highlight of the podcast so far, I’ll be going there myself in October. Aviation geek/injury rehab could be a niche podcast market? Also, hold a course in Tasmania sometime. Keep it up 👍
