This podcast takes a chunk of the material of a Phillip K Dick thriller, plunks it in the near future, mixes in some hot dating scenarios and strong female leads. The production quality is as high as QCode has lead me to expect. Bravo to their editors for not dragging things out.

When’s the second season coming?!

I binge the entire thing in one day, that’s how great the story is. Dianna Agron never disappoints. She’s the reason I got here in the first place. The plot is so easy and exciting to follow. I do hope there would be another season as I am that eager to know whatever happens next, if ever there...Read full review »

I listened to the series while traveling and working out. It was my first experience with basically listening to a show vs watching it and I enjoyed it immensely. It hooked me in the first episode and kept my attention. I already have recommended it to multiple friends! Hoping there is a Season 2...Read full review »

"being in love really is the only accepted from of insanity" Or "being in love really is the only excepted from of insanity" Which one is right? Really nice story. Thank you.Read full review »

definitely glad i stayed tuned. has tons of potential for season two. keep up the good work. though it is weird for male listeners at some moments. but the draw of the plot kept me in.

Stopped renewing my qcode paid subscription after realizing they almost never finish their best stories. Why do they do this? Maybe conclude the stories already started before starting new ones. I liked this a lot other than it ends the season on a cliffhanger and QCode rarely makes a season 2...Read full review »

The way the episodes are split up is retarded. This isn't cable TV. Why did you take the worst part of that format and applied it to a podcast? Either place all the ads for your other shows at the start or at the end, not in the middle where it takes focus from the story.. Or just do a...Read full review »

It was a good listen. I wish it had more than one season. What ever happened to Andie?

Loved how immersive this was. Best listened to with headphones on. Dianna Agron’s voice is so sultry and soothing. The combination of mind reading and AI and the world building in this podcast is so interesting. Although I do think her romance with Andie was rushed, I honestly though she’d end up...Read full review »

Wow, loved this show. Really hope there is a 2nd season.
shagcarpetwoodenfloors via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/30/22
The most interesting part of this story is the mind reading and the society rules they have set up around that and yet it’s pushed way to the side for a very forced love story that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Two characters fall in love based on basically nothing and a lot of the story is spent...Read full review »

Narcissa is an interesting and unique story with great production values. I’m a tough critic, and I found it refreshingly well done. A winner.

So far I’ve listened two QCODEs shows, this and soft voice, and both had terrible abrupt ending. Like the writers just got really tired in the end and wrapped it up so quick and not interesting at all, it was good overall, but 3 stars for the terrible ending.

Smart writing and extremely well performed!

This story had so much potential, yet it was tragically wasted. The love story is painfully forced. The narrative keeps on TELLING the listener how beautiful of a love story it is, but it is never actually seen. This ruined this show for me, especially because they decided to make this "love...Read full review »

Can you bring it back? This was a great listen! There should be another season. Loved it and looking for more like it.

Loved the storyline and production was phenomenal. Ending was mediocre leaving lots of questions unanswered. Thinking there will be a 2nd season.

i didn’t know Podcasts had fictional options. i loved this story! the genre and concept were really fun and kept me entertained the whole time. the voice actors were spot on. this made me want to check out more! please make a season 2! the cliffhanger is too much 🙃 thanks for the story ☺️
yeheekah via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/18/22
The story reminds me true blood (sookie because she’s a mind reader and working bar thing) but the story was good and Dianna Agron was AMAZING as always 🙌🏻

And then it just ended with no wrap up. This happened to me with a different series. I guess I’m done with podcast series.

Best series I’ve ever heard. The acting is unbelievable. The sound effects are marvelous. BUT I will say this.. the ending 😩 geez. I wish there was more to it. I didn’t like how it felt like it was just left unfinished. But overall my favorite 💕

Film noir, sci-fi and sultry. Will this eventually become a movie or tv series? Or a series of novels? Such an interesting premise and memorable characters. Really solid world-building. Hats off to the whole team who made this.

Wypinga via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/13/22
I am so confused by people’s desire for the ending to be different. The ending was one of my favorite parts about the show. Twisted, honest, messy, and philosophical. I personally don’t enjoy Hollywood’s infantilizing obsession with happy endings so this ticked all the right boxes. I also loved...Read full review »

Qcode has some great audio drama. Production is top notch stories are usually engaging. The only real problem is you get hooked on a show and they leave you hanging for a season two. Add Narcissa to that list. Interesting story, great acting, sexy. Good stuff. The only question…will Qcode...Read full review »

This is the second QCode postcast I’ve listed all the way through & I really liked both, until the end. What the heck?! Both times I kept thinking there were episodes coming but NOPE. So strange. What a weird place to end a story. Who ends at the climax? Disappointing.

I started and finished this podcast over the weekend. What a ride. A mix of Blade Runner dystopian themes coupled with an exploration of love in a few different forms, Narcissa is one of a few podcasts like LifeAfter/TheMessage which have stayed with me well beyond the closing credits.
