Such a fun podcast. So much great information
I look forward to this podcast every week as a Jersey girl who has relocated to Maryland. Sometimes, I feel so connected to home while listening! The attitude of meeting people where they are and not taking a militant position on natives is appreciated. Also, sometimes the format is varied, but always interesting. I recently heard this duo on Backyard Ecology, another good show. They bring objective civility to all their discussions and always make me smile. One request: it’s just a bit of a downer to hear someone you admire use a common name (Karen) to stereotype so negatively. I get it. It’s part of the current cultural zeitgeist, but I wish we didn’t have influential media people reinforcing such nasty stuff. I highly recommend this show and thanks.

More reviews of Native Plants, Healthy Planet
Thanks guys for such a great podcast! It’s nice to listen to other native plant nerds like myself. I’m in NC, but all this is applicable to here too! Doug Tallamy would be a great guest as would Benjamin Vogt, author of A New Garden Ethic. Thanks again!

I stumbled across this podcast due to my interest in...Read full review »
