ABOUT THIS MESSAGE: In this midweek sermon, we continue our exploration of the profound theme of living by the Spirit, a journey that began On Sunday. Our key scriptures are 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 and Galatians 5:22-25, which guide us in understanding the transformation that occurs when we are in Christ. As believers, we are new creations, with the old life passed away and a new life begun, encapsulated in the life of the Spirit. The message delves into the essence of our identity in Christ, emphasising that at salvation, we receive everything necessary to live a victorious life. This is not through our own efforts but through the indwelling Spirit of God, which empowers us to live in freedom and overcome the desires of the flesh. The sermon highlights the contrast between walking in the Spirit and walking in the flesh, drawing from various scriptures to illuminate this understanding.
