I find the discussions interesting and I would love to enjoy the podcast more, but the audio makes listening really difficult.

I found this discussion very well guided by the excellent moderator M. Pieknik and very well explained by the articulate authors of this complex book. this is not a polemic but a very well reasoned discussion of the fearfulness that attaches to sex. thank you for introducing me to these authors...Read full review »

With women and queer people more likely to receive the label “borderline” it’s a tool of misogynist and homophobic hate. It disenfranchises people from both mental and health care. As Marsha Linehan notes, “it’s a weird word.” Please get with the 21st Century and use Emotional dysregulation...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed a number of these interviews over the years, though I find the perspective too narrowly post-modern. I would love to see more diversity and less ideological predictability.

This podcast is not only a treasure but a treasure trove of excellent interviews with practiontiners and scholars, conducted brilliantly by wonderful hosts who ask thoughtful and pertinent questions. Thank you so much for having launched this and kept it going since 2011!

Boring interviews with book peddlers—worse because by smoke & mirror academics. And see all reviews only shows 5 stars.

A
I love this podcast. I learn so much from every interview. I have been listening regularly for over a year, and today, I cried for the first time during an episode. Dr. Pinsky’s reading of her epilogue was raw, eloquent and deeply moving. I can’t wait to read her essays. Thank you to Tracy...Read full review »

The interviewers on this show ask thoughtful questions that show they have actually engaged the material. The caliber of authors on the show is quite high. I listen religiously.

This is one of very few podcasts that provides a discussion on psychoanalysis but it leaves much to be desired. The audio quality is terrible. Listening to the recordings is difficult but bearable if you're interested in the subject. The host is overbearing and takes valuable time to talk...Read full review »

This is great, finally a podcast about psychoanalysis!

I appreciate hearing interesting views but his total disregard for the scientific method is disturbing. His unshaken conviction in his ideas is equally disturbing. Spiritualising the psychotic state is incredibly damaging to finding progress in treating this condition.

I came across this podcast just randomly searching for some intelligent podcast. This podcast is thought provoking especially podcast #3 Analysis in the inner city-class, race, etc. Even if you don't agree with everything it'll broaden your understanding and maybe help you even improve...Read full review »

I listened the interview of Dr Henrika Freud, and as a trainee in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy I found it extremely useful. I enjoyed it and I'll continue hearing all the offered topics on psychoanalysis. Being in Cyprus one has to make great efforts to meet and hear known...Read full review »

This is an incredibly interesting and informative podcast. The interviewer is clearly well prepared for her interviews and her own personal experience in psychoanalysis adds enormous depth to the programme. There are so many more new books out there...Frank Lachmann, Joe Lichtenberg, Nancy...Read full review »

For psychoanalysts, patients and the rest of the public - - this podcast is a real find. She makes the material very accessible and real (not a ton of jargon or...Read full review »

I have listened to the first three episodes- and they just keep getting better. I like the open and honest interview style of Ms. Morgan and the way she puts the author (and listener!) at ease with what could otherwise be technical jargon (psychobabble). The episodes so far also help show how...Read full review »

I'm so excited to finally find a podcast devoted to psychoanalysis. While there are some great psychology podcasts out there that sometimes address this topic (e.g. Shrinkrap Radio), I've yet to find one devoted completely to this fertile area. It's a shame when there are so many...Read full review »
