Follow Eric and Dustin through their fatherhood journey, we don't want to give away any spoilers here but it is a wild ride. They tackle topics like pregnancy, child care, day-to-day life, and pretty much anything else new parents deal with. As men, Eric and Dustin are not trying to pretend as though they know what women are going through but are just relating these topics to their personal experiences. However new of a dad (or mom) you are, they hope you find some comfort in knowing that there are other parents out there who are going through the same thing. Please stick with us, we really hit our stride around episode 49!

Dustin went on a trip and has things to say. Eric has gotten way too into toys. Don't eat oatmeal in the morning.

Very helpful & Easy to listen to
Having a baby girl in Oct 2022. This has been a very helpful introduction to fatherhood. These guys are pretty laid back and aren’t too serious which makes it easy to listen to. Thank you!
Scared 23 year old expecting a child with my girlfriend
Hello Eric and Dustin! Just wanted to say I love the podcast! Right now I’m on episode 58 and just loving the content. I’m twenty three years old and going to have a baby with my girlfriend that I’ve been with for 8 happy years. We are excited and scared about this new journey. I came across the podcast looking for anything that can give me tips and advice on being a father and a supportive partner. I love the honesty you guys always give out. I’m really scared and anxious about all this but you guys helped ease my thoughts. I’m not sure if you guys still read out reviews but hope you guys can give me advice about being a young guy who is scared and nervous. I don’t know if I’m able to support my mother who doesn’t have my dads support because he not in the picture. I also have a little brother who’s 12 years old that I don’t want him thinking he’s on his own all because I’m having a child. I would love to hear your guy’s viewpoint on this. My head never stops thinking about everyone, always trying to figure things out. Which I know you guys know how that feels.
Thank you for your time! I hope all your families are doing well and full of health and love.
Keep this going! Much love!
Amazing Show but Terrible Production Values
Found these guys back in Feb ’20 when my first kid was born and I had no idea about anything kid related. I was an uncle to my sister’s kids but needed some “dude” guidance that I could understand and could get my simple brain behind. Dustin and Eric made being a new dad much less scary and my wife was surprised at how natural and confident I was with our son right away. Now that I have 2 kids, I’m still listening because they have 5 kids between them and have lots of knowledge and simple tricks that have made having multiple kids easier for me.
My only complaint is that in 80 or so episodes that I’ve listened to is the production value of these podcasts. These guys still sound like they use Fisher-Price microphones, you can hear their chairs squeak as they roll around the floor, Dustin loves to drink something out of a glass with ice cubes and you can always hear the ice cubes rattling around in the glass when he takes a drink while they’re recording and Eric yawns into the mic almost every episode. I get the “2 friends sitting around talking vibe” of the show but if you’re trying to monetize these podcasts, paying even a little bit of attention to production makes a massive difference. I’m sure you don’t need a multi-million dollar Joe Rogan type budget to have a well produced show that is easy on the ears.
Thanks for sharing so much of your baby and kid knowledge from a guys POV. It has really made my life easier and my time with my children more enjoyable.
