More than a mystery
Listening to this podcast gives you more than a mystery to solve; it gives you authentic New Orleans culture over the last few decades. Speaking to real New Orleans natives to learn more about this mystery gives people a window into local, real, native New Orleans life, and that’s not something I’ve found elsewhere. The podcast investigates the mystery in its historical context in a nuanced and complex way, with clarity, respect and nuance. Everytime an episode ends, you immediately want to hear the next one.

If it wasn’t about my hometown I’d probably quit listening. It seems there isn’t much to the story and it’s being drawn out to have more episodes than necessary. After six episodes I just want it to wrap up. I feel like we already know the mystery. Maybe a surprise ending? If I can listen that long.
