“Much better when it was on BBC as there was more content and less adverts. I like the fact they do their own adverts but it’s repetitive and disrupts the flow of the pod. Not to be too much of a Karl but here’s a quick stat for Statman Dave, approx 15% of each episode is adverts. I get you’re looking to monetise it to make it worthwhile but it’s effecting the product too much. Reduce the adverts or pile them at the end or start OR increase the content. The content is equally entertaining but the adverts are making it seem less so. Statman Dave is a good alternative to Fordyce but feel he tries to hard at times, can tell he’s sometimes reading from a script and comes across a bit parched.”
