Childhood is a very vulnerable period in our lives. We are growing, developing and learning how to see ourselves and the world around us. This can in turn affect how we function as adults that if not careful, a very toxic generational cycle of trauma can be set up. In today’s episode, I share some responses as kids, that may be as a result of childhood trauma including a few signs and symptoms too. “You should have known better!?” Well what if the action you took is the only “better” you know in accordance to the knowing you have been exposed to? 🤷‍♀️ I am learning that it’s okay to make mistakes or be wrong because that’s probably the only “right” you might know how to do in that moment. 🤗 In today's episode, I share a few lessons that I picked from some stories in the Bible when people experienced seemingly overwhelming situations and how they dealt with them. I hope you’re...

On today’s episode, we continue with the second part of the topic on LETTING GO but seeing it from a different perspective. According to dictionary definition, the word ‘WORD’ also means to express agreement. Now imagine the numerous agreements we’ve made with a few careless words we speak or have spoken 🤦‍♀️ LORDHAMERCY. In this episode, I share a few things and most importantly scriptural affirmations that can encourage us as we start our day to speak well of ourselves, surroundings and everything else connected to us. Proverbs 18:21 MSG Words kill, words give life;
    they’re either...

Growing up we were taught to say thank you when given something or something good done for us. Most especially, we were taught to always say a “THANK YOU “ prayer when you wake up to acknowledge that it’s God who’s made it possible for you to be awake. A few days ago after watching a discussion on BETTER TOGETHER, Pastor Holly Furtick said something that resonated with me. She talked about how she’d wake up in the morning and after a short“thank you” prayer , she couldn’t help but start...

Exodus 2 The Message Moses 2 1-3 A man from the family of Levi married a Levite woman. The woman became pregnant and had a son. She saw there was something special about him and hid him. She hid him for three months. When she couldn’t hide him any longer she got a little basket-boat made of papyrus, waterproofed it with tar and pitch, and placed the child in it. Then she set it afloat in the reeds at the edge of the Nile. Have you ever been advised not to pursue something because it could...

What is the difference between someone being lazy or going through a mental health crisis like depression or anxiety ? Where do we draw a thin line? I’m learning and understanding that People don’t just suddenly lose interest in doing things they’ve always LOVED to do. With careful analysis, you’d find quite a number of reasons one could be going through that season . A particular lady who simply explains it this way, “It stated slowly, but I always picked myself up. Month after month...

✌🏼 Ride or Die Or Ride or Thrive! OPENING SCRIPTURE PSALM 20 :1-9 Isn’t it amazing how we adopt certain trends or sayings without fully understanding the meaning behind them or how they came about. I’ve heard this saying before and honestly, I never knew what it meant. Just a quick one on the meaning , ride or die is a term used to describe a person (usually a woman) that is willing to do anything for their partner, friend, or family, even in the face of danger or it kills you....

We’re going to look through a beautiful passage of scripture from Matthew. Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son - Matthew 1:18-21 18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about[d]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet[e] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. 20 But after he...

It’s easy to write people or things off especially if they don’t meet our expectations or maybe we feel let down in some way, even though, that’s probably not the case all the time. What would change if we are patient enough and willing to give ourselves, others and God a chance at something that we have probably have decided to sweep under the mat, bandage or completely write off? I hope this short episode Blesses you and challenges you this week to give a chance or chances. #Stay Blessed#

In John 11, Mary and Martha’s Brother, Lazarus ( described as the one Jesus loved) dies. Her first response upon seeing Jesus is amazing..... How do you tell God or talk to God when you feel like He hasn’t done something that you know only He is able to do or not fulfilled a promise? #You’re strong because of WHO YOU ARE, not who you pretend to be#

In the Book of 1 Samuel 8, the Israelites start demanding for a king because everyone else had one and we know that in the end, they got more than what they bargained for. But aren’t we all like that sometimes? Measuring our abilities or success according to what we see from others or even just what we think? #embrace your journey# Don’t discredit any step#
