Career Coach Office Hours: Ask Me Anything About Job Hunting
EP 2937 I answered 6 questions from people:
Should I Tell The Interviewer That I Already Have A Job Offer?
How do find a job in America if I am from outside of the US?
How should I show a job in my family's business on my resume?
What are some of the best career objectives written in a resume?
What are some of the most common mistakes people make in job interviews? How can these mistakes be avoided?
Is it bad to quit your job when you have nothing else lined up already?
NOTE: I use bad language once or twice

Customer Reviews
Candidates - this is a must listen
For anyone that is conducting a job search or one day will be conducting a job search, this is one of the most valuable tools at your disposal and it’s at your fingertips! I’ve listened to several episodes now and the content is on point and easy to utilize. Great tool to be listened to and shared.
Too much fluff
The podcast itself has useful content, and I have no problem with short episodes. However, approximately half the podcast content is either advertising or self-promotion. This becomes annoying very quickly with the shorter episodes when hearing the same ad 20 times in half an hour.
Too short repeated content
So I appreciate the smaller bite sized content, but producing 2 episodes with the exact same content under a different episode title, is sad and doesn’t confer authority. If you are truly an expert in this field, you would give multiple different examples, dive into nuisances, etc. plus the intro music - can’t hear him actually speak during the music.
