A must listen for punk fans

I’m so glad I found this podcast! Some really deep dives into some of my favorite bands and am learning a lot. It’s also extremely funny and irreverent.

Very sloppy

I’m not sure how much research these two do, but it’s not nearly enough. Marcus constantly chimes in with facts or interpretations that just aren’t true. They seem to read interviews 20 years after the fact that explain inspirations or reasons for things happening and take them at face value. Not surprising coming from a podcaster who took all of the sensationalist H.H. Holmes coverage from the 1800s at face value. They also practically shrug at ‘70s musicians committing statutory rape by saying, “Well, at least they weren’t predators like R. Kelly.” How so? They preyed on little girls.

A podcast of shorts

Absolutely love this podcast. It’s been very informative, funny, and easy to connect to. Marcus and Karolina are my hero’s.
