From Mia to Claire.
Struggling to connect with Claire Murphy. It’s obvious she’s putting in 100% effort but she tells so much of the story herself within each question rather than simply asking questions and giving the interviewee time and space to tell their own story. It seems like she focuses more on getting a story across rather than creating human connection. Mia was always great at making us feel like it was the first time she’s ever heard a story but with Claire, it’s quite obvious that she’s heard in a thousand times and is really well rehearsed. Not in a good way I’m sorry to say. Haven’t been able to finish any of her episodes unfortunately.

I adore Mia's natural and frank interview style. She creates a space where those being interviewed can give natural responses without fear of judgement.Read full review »

Great podcast, especially recent interviews with Rosie Waterlandand Richard Glover. I was in tears at the end of Rosie's interview and am in awe of Richard's life, thanks for providing such insightful interviews and opening our eyes. Highly recommendRead full review »
