Disappointed
Kinda disappointed Angela came out as left of center. Politics didn’t need to be a part of this show, and the very concept of grit seems to be so antithetical to progressive ideals. Also, why did they jump to controversy, social justice, and boycotts in the Chick-fil-A episode? Are people allowed to not frequent a business just because the food is not good, it’s expensive, or it’s overrated? Why do a company owner’s values or morals have to factor in at all? Also get over yourself, listener from Massachusetts who wants to be sure the world knows she doesn’t shop at Hobby Lobby or Chick-fil-A because something something social justice. Nobody cares about your virtue signaling.

I can’t take all of the “likes” Angela chooses to communicate by. I have to turn it off. Intriguing content. I have a ton of respect for the written word of both and like their humor and vibe.

I love the conversations that unfold between these two smart, philosophical friends! They cover a variety of topics in an easy, authentic way. The fact check at the end is a nice touch 😊 Great podcast!
