Okay concept, bad execution
The concept is okay, but some of the topics they choose need a deeper conversation. Take the Chick-fil-a episode: it seemed more like a marketing gimmick than an in-depth convo about all the bad reasons (on top of the unique ways mentioned) that the company is profitable, such as exploitation of poorer communities and factory farms. Also, it’s really annoying how Dubner has to make a joke every minute. I have been a listener from the beginning, and it’s definitely reducing in quality over time.

Great dynamic between the two hosts who are also two of my favorite authors. I like the fact check at the end which added even more depth to an already stimulating conversation. Ready for more episodes!
