Description
If you want to create a new non profit web site or start all over again with an existing one, this show will be very helpful. My guest is Eileen Webb, a founder of the web development firm, webmeadow (http://www.webmeadow.com), which works with non for profits and is based in Littleton, New Hampshire. Eileen discusses identifying goals, a budget, a timeline, choosing a web development firm, and the post-launch phase. We've done a number of shows about web sites on Nonprofit Spark because they are the public face of your organization and you want a really good one. These projects can be affordable and even fun when you start by asking great questions like, "Why?" An earlier episode of Nonprofit Spark that is a good companion to this one is Keeping your website out of legal hot water (http://webtalkradio.net/internet-talk-radio/2013/05/20/nonprofit-spark-keeping-your-website-out-of-legal-hot-water-052013/), which aired the week of May 20, 2013. It's real eye-opener about copyright and is the perfect primer for you as you consider a new site. Now, before you listen to this episode, I have a request. Take a moment to let me know how Nonprofit Spark has helped you and your organization. This show is downloaded some 40,000 times per month but that doesn't tell me what kind of difference this show is making for you. That's what really matters to me. Just like you evaluate how well your programs are doing, that's what I want to do here. So email me at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected] )and let me know of an idea or two that has helped you. I'll give your non profit a shout-out on the show. Okay, let's begin the interview with Eileen Webb on getting started with your web non for profit site project. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did.
