Hey y'all, we return to Hosea with chapters 9 and 10. I keep combining chapters because honestly, this disstrack needs to end soon. I talk about Christian and politics in this one, so if I offend you, I apologize (I apologize that you are offended but not about what I say).

Good Friday homily for April 2nd 2021. This is a short homily I wrote for NCKC back in 2019. The refrain that is used for the ALL part of the homily: All Holy God, holy and strong, holy and immortal, have mercy upon us.

We are back for week 4! We talk through Hosea 5 and 6. The sermon title is from one of my favorite Christian screamo bands, Emery, and really has nothing to do with the sermon but I got tired of using Derek Webb song lyrics. Also, I address the Mass Murder in Atlanta, so prepare for a heavy sermon.

We are back for week 3 of Hosea chapter 4 (I know a bit confusing). This marks a change in the book away from the narrative of Homer (remember the celebrity name I gave Hosea and Gomer) and into the sermons against Israel by the prophet Hosea.

This week, we have the second sermon in our new series. We will be going through Hosea 2-3 and chatting through how we deal with our own desires versus the desire that God has given us.

Hello everyone! NCKC is starting up it's new series The Prophet and the Prostitute (or how I came to love the American church again) starting with Hosea 1! I also make a reference to Derek Webb's album She Shall and Must Go Free and specifically to the song Wedding Dress by Derek Webb. Feel free to check them out and hopefully you enjoy the direction of the new series.

We are getting so close to the end of our Human Bible study, ending 14:43-72 in this sermon. Yes, I took my sermon title from a Run the Jewels song. Also, yes, I do break down in this sermon. It's a long one, so there is no Scripture lead in but please, listen. It's an important one.

We continue on our Human Bible Study with Mark 14:1-42. I was a bit late getting this one out but it's a good one. We are nearing the end and Christ has his last meal and well, we finally talk a lot about sin and more important, our forgiveness from that sin.

We find ourselves in Mark 13 for the Human Bible Study where we run into another divine appointment. It seems that the Lord has gone before us and planned that we would dealing with systems and the tearing down of those systems, well just about the time those things are happening in the United States. Also, we have talk about end times. So you know, very relevant things.

We are in Mark 12 this week for our Human Bible Study. I go off script a lot because of what is happening in our nation right now and wanting to address it. No scripture lead in either because once again, I go long. Be blessed this week.

We continue our Human Bible Study with Mark 11, where we have another Markan sandwich, this time fig flavored. No scripture lead, since it got a bit long!

We continue our Human Bible Study with a guest preacher! We get to hear from Rev. Michael Wiltshire this week as he preaches on Mark 9:30-10:16. Also, he had nothing to do with the sermon title. I totally made that up for him. Also, he read the scripture as well. Needless to say, I had nothing to do with this sermon...well beyond giving it an awesome name.
