Well, it’s a tie between this one and her Shakespeare ones.

These are great lectures but the audience sound like they have TB. Painful and very distracting.

Have been listening to both this class and the class on approaching Shakespeare. I enjoy the courses given by Dr. Smith to no end. It is a good way to learn about authors and or themes that were popular in Elizabethan and Jacobean England. Have heard it repeatedly, it entertains me to no end

Self education has a new weapon. Please give that ogre a cough drop; in exchange I'll grant the final star....Read full review »

I've listened to all twelve lectures and wish there were twelve times as many. It was a joy - interesting lectures beautifully delivered by an intelligent and knowledgeable lecturer. highly recommended if you have an interest in early modern literature and history.
