“I absolutely adore this podcast. Listening to Ellen and Mom chat about their book of the week amid inside jokes and references to other family members is a delight.
Highlights include discussion on a book’s “swooniest moment,” not to be confused with the “steamiest moment,” which is identified as well, and relatable asides about the awkwardness of listening to a particularly steamy audiobook while road-tripping with one’s brother/son in the backseat. Episodes also have letters/recordings from other listeners giving their opinions of the books, and…shoot, why haven’t I done that yet?
