I’ve listened to every episode in season 1 and am LOVING season 2’s emphasis on debunking nonsense. Danielle, I live in Sedona Arizona which, as many people know, is a haven for all kinds of goofy unproven unscientific woo-woo crazy “medicine” and “healing” businesses. I have my feet firmly on...Read full review »

Love this! Please cover raw milk. It’s a new trend. I personally don’t drink cow milk but I understand some do. But in general if you could cover raw milk vs organic so people can see how dangerous the new trend of raw milk is. I know people giving it to babies and they don’t believe how...Read full review »

I was so grateful to hear the one about the dark side of wellness. I needed to hear this one. I was about to dive off into trying to do all the things… a bit of reality here. Thank you so much!

This is such a fabulous and informative podcast. I am learning so much and am so grateful that someone like her has come forward to debunk all the health disinformation out there. I particularly appreciate the info dealing with womens health as doctors seem to know (or care) so little about us....Read full review »

I unfortunately suffer from a few chronic conditions, so I’m a perfect candidate for the type of predatory marketing and practices that the wellness industry has been known to engage in. While the hosts admit that the current allopathic medical system needs improvement (while dispelling some...Read full review »

Favorite part is how nature can be so dangerous! If everything from nature is fine why aren’t we using poison ivy for toilet paper! Poisonous mushrooms and berries, hug a grizzly bear- etc. can’t guarantee something won’t be harmful, that’s why we have allergies

Thank you so much for your information on functional medicine. My mom has spent THOUSANDS on various tests and supplements and although she will never believe anyone that it’s a scam, I am glad to have this knowledge for myself.

I’m not a crunchy homeopathic nut but I’m not anti natural either. I’m in the middle. I prefer facts which is why I wanted to give this a listen. The episode I listened to with the ob/gyn was super biased and the opposite of educational. Not only did a lot of things she claimed, did she not...Read full review »

I have learned so much from this podcast series. The cholesterol series, master class in lipids, development of medical guidelines, GMOs are all outstanding episodes. Hope to hear many more.

Some episodes feel really balanced and objective. There is just clearly anti-fat bias going on. You’re more likely to develop an eating disorder than lose weight successfully and sustainably and yet doctors continue to promote restrictive diets. It’s attitudes like these that keep patients out of...Read full review »

Danielle and her podcast are a perfect example of why so many have grown mistrusting of medical professionals over these past few years. Love your approach and the credible, informative content. Would really appreciate an episode addressing the misinformation about the benefits of drinking “moderate” alcohol consumption (whatever that is!) and health - especially red wine and heart health.

As a long time medical sales rep and girlfriend of a physician, I highly value evidence based medicine. I am also a 500 hour yoga teacher.
