Why?
I guess my question is why? I respect those who question science and those with forward-thinking. But this is not you, Dr Belardo. You have attack the most respected and influential plant-based doctors of or time like Dr Ornish and Dr Esselstyn. I am disturbed by your actions and what you tell your listeners. You have muddied the water creating more conflict for healthcare providers who are dedicating their lives to saving others with Plant-based medicine. I am dumbfounded that you are a provider with the institute of plant-based medicine and that you work with those I admire like Dr Sadeghi and Dr Mendez. It seems these doctors and doctors like Dr Kim Williams would be upset by the things you say and the people you publicly attack. You create enough confusion to open the door to the food industry that is killing people including our children. . As an example the discussion you had on your podcast about studies on eggs was unsettling and wrong, your comments demonstrated your lack of understanding the study designs of two of the studies. Your promotion of fats creates insulin resistance which makes my patients sick. And as Dr Barnard says it causes “foodborne” diseases. You have found a way to make a lot of money at the expense of others, you are no different than big tobacco. I am saddened that you are in our plant-based community. I wish I had an option to rate you “0” stars.
