New to the industry

“Hello Mark and Paige! I am about to graduate from Colorado School of Mines. You say this is a podcast for busy oil and gas professionals, but I am constantly recommending to students and others looking to get into the industry! I appreciate what y’all do. I did a 7 month CO-OP with ExxonMobil last year doing machinery engineering and I loved it, but now due to the current state of the company, there probably will not be any opportunities for me there. I am now very weary to go into a company that is primarily oil/gas based, rather I am more considering a company like Flowserve which is very active in the oil and gas industry but has a more diversified base. What are y’all’s advice for young individuals trying to join the industry?”
