This happens everywhere around us and is a fast-growing criminal industry only second to arms.  Returning to the show I had the pleasure of re-interviewing my friend Spencer Lodge. Spencer is a best-selling author, the founder of $100M valuation, and one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Dubai. But we don’t talk about any of that… Certain things happen in life that make you reassess your values. Historically I’ve avoided looking too deeply into this stuff. I had an awareness it was happening but I had no idea of the extent of the depravity. It can be difficult to acknowledge the horrors of this world without it upsetting us which is why we shy away from it. The truth is over 8 million children are trafficked every year and those are very conservative numbers. As a Mother myself, I can’t just pretend I don’t know that.  In this episode, we talk about the harsh reality of being born into the Badi community in Nepal.
