“Jeff, I have been a huge fan of the show since season 1. Yeah, a few seasons may have fallen a little short in the past but if you don’t try new ideas from time to time, the show would become stagnant. I loved hearing that you have a personal challenge sometimes to infuse a phrase from songs. I now hear them when watching. Your energy, positivity and mindset of just throw everything out there something will end up working attitude is infectious. I see where that comes from now. I met your father shortly after season 44 started. We started talking about our children and how proud we are of their accomplishments. I’m so happy I had the privilege to meet him. Even though I haven’t met you personally yet, the short time spent with your father made my day and I will always cherish it. I think of it often every time I put that orange hat on!”
