Every once in a harvest moon a let the Ledge Queen herself into my ear holes. That's right, I'm talking about the one and only Jane Perrone. I know you say her last name as Per-Own but when I am on the bus I always have myself a giggle thinking of her introducing herself as Jane Perroni. Funny, right? Okay, now to the meat of the thing here. Jane talks about plants in the house and I like that in my ear holes. Its nice. I could listen to it for hours. But I can't, Jane, I CAN'T! And why can't I Jane?! Because you only make so many of these per month, Jane! Finally find a great podcast about my hobby AND YOU MAKE US WAIT TIME BETWEEN EPISODES?! What kind of sick joke is that, Jane?! I need a plant podcast fix and just when you get me hooked on that sweet sweet show of yours, I find out there are only a few episodes and I have to wait for more. dubbya tea eff! Can't say I enjoy waiting. Or episodes where you take questions from listeners. Listeners never offer anything interesting. I swear if you ever do a show about fairy gardens or the joys of growing lavender in the home I swear I will be so sad. I might even flail. Do you want me to start flailing on a bus? Do you know what that would do to me? Please don't do those kinds of episodes, Jane. Instead, talk about the fern I have in my bathroom window or how to root oak leaves so that you have nothing but a single dumb oak leaf growing out of a pot. Wouldn't that freak your friends out a bit? I think it would freak mine out. On second thought, I best never learn how to do that because I can't afford to have fewer friends. Don't do an episode like that either. Stick to weird succulents and various orchids and a cylcamen or two. Also, can you publicly shame people for posting too many alocasia photos to instagram? I'm seriously asking... for a friend. Well long story short I recommend this podcast. It's fun. Jane is fun. Her guests are fun. Sub.Read full review »

Great show on the alternative and quirky side of gardening. Jane has a great manner and the topics are fun and informative. I could do without voiceover man who appeared in the first two episodes.

I used to love this podcast very much. But... the sound quality of the interviews are.. so poor that I can understand almost nothing.

I’ve just spent all day binge listening to On the Ledge! Absolutely love it! I’ve just started studying horticulture and this is the perfect accompaniment to inspire me with little tips and tricks to keep my plants super dooper!
