My favorite plant-cast!
I never knew that the sound of pouring a cup of tea was the anti-anxiety medicine I needed-that is, until I found OTL. Listening to Jane pour herself “a cupper” at the beginning of every episode puts my mind into a relaxed state, and I feel myself curling up ready for a plant chat with the most charming and knowledgeable plant aunt who welcomes you into her home to learn about and enjoy plants together. The occasional visit by her dog truly makes this podcast an immersive experience into every plant parent’s fantasy of a lovely afternoon in the green house. The only problem I have is accidentally taking on Jane’s British accent at work, as I listen on my commute every day.

I don’t have many houseplants (more of an outdoor gardener) but this podcast is an excellent source of info. The episode giving tips on buying plants is relative to anyone about to part with money for a plant!

A lovely, big, warm, house plant-printed blanket of a podcast. Household names and experts are there to pass on there knowledge of a subject which really should be a little less niche. Engagingly written and presented by Jane Perrone. Looking forward to more episodes!

I love listening to Jane. She is hilarious, knowledgeable, kind, and down to earth. Her interviewees are also always fantastic to listen to. If you like gardening and house plants, that's the show to listen to.Read full review »
