Fenton Johnson, author and native son of the Kentucky Knobs, joins Bill to talk about his new novel "The Man Who Loved Birds." Johnson had success a number of years ago with his works of fiction "Crossing the River" and "Scissors, Paper, Rock." His nonfiction writing includes "Keeping Faith: A Skeptic’s Journey" and "Geography of the Heart: A Memoir." Johnson teaches creative writing at the University of Arizona and in Spalding University’s MFA program.
