So helpful! Open Book
As a pastor I read more than ever before, and you want to focus your limited time on the very best books. To do this I often choose books on recommendation, but it’s good to keep widening the field of those who you know and trust to give you really great book recommendations. This podcast is partly sending me back to books on my shelves that I haven’t properly read, and also pointing me in new directions. This podcast also shows how the value of books is their relational value; we are blessed under God as we read books that point us back to his love and his glory, to Christ and his cross, to his people and his mission. We get to know the authors and also our brothers and sisters in Christ as we read in community. And last but not least- these podcast episodes are short so you can easily enjoy an episode on a coffee break!

More reviews of Open Book with Stephen Nichols
I love these podcasts! Stephen Nichols does a great job with the interviews and giving an overview of Dr. Sproul’s favorite books. With his passing, and so many people missing him, this is a great way to keep his memory alive.
