Very intriguing show. Makes you feel like you are a part of what’s happening. One of the best.

A well researched and then produced series about the original Trade Tower Attacks before 9/11. A fascinating and addicting story to follow with interviews across the world and agencies responsible for the response. I think this series similarly to the Line should have an Apple TV+ component...Read full review »

Really good short podcast

This podcast was from years ago! Regurgitated perhaps because of the New Wars in the Middle East? “Introducing “ is a false description to market an ancient podcast as current. Deceptive marketing.

Good story with general and uninspired Islamophobia sprinkled throughout. 1 star for that reason.

This is (was?) an amazing podcast! Is this all there is? I need more!

Superb production and structure. Congratulations. Well worth listening to. Only gripe is the amount of Arabic names which could be simplified by code names or an appropriation to what they did or were suspected of doing. Brilliant.

Is there going to be another episode after The Hunt for KSM? It feels like the series ended abruptly. I hope there’s more because I love it!

This was a great way to tell the stories of the WTC atrocities. Hearing from this directly impacted as well as those responsible for investigating the crimes.

The podcast is well done. But how was all this financed? Motivation might have been hatred and disdain, but there is a financial motive too and a need for a bankroll to keep everyone satisfied and motivated. The FBI had worked with US Postal Inspectors and others to determine financing was not...Read full review »

Blindspot season 1 made this same podcast years ago. This is a trash retread.

This podcast gives a unique and detailed timeline of events which led up to the 1993 WTC bombing. Each individual episode tells a story and provides the context of the planning and execution of the terrorist attack and then the exhaustive manhunt to find its perpetrators. Highly recommended.

Best series I’ve listened to in since Rachel Maddow’s “Bagman”.

Wow
This podcast teaches you about why 9/11 happened by discussing the 1993 WTC bombing. Great journalism!

Still unreal today. For a month's relief and the lighter side of news you have to listen to "community News by Paul and Sasha." It will make you laugh and smile.Read full review »

Marc Smerling is the mighty of mighties when it comes to investigative crime podcasts. Crimetown remains my all-time fave. The reporting is solid, and the story is strong. It’s just ling enough to be captivating without dragging. Congratulations, Marc. What’s next?

I was a little girl when this took place, so I definitely don’t remember the details. Thank you for going into depth on the events surrounding this tragedy.

Now that there are thousands of documentary-style podcasts in the world, I feel like less than 10% live up to the standards of what excellent storytelling podcasting used to be. This one meets and exceeds the line. So worth a listen. Thanks y’all!

I love the story and the content and the production, but do not like having to wait a full week in between episodes to only get a 30 minute episode. Most podcasts that are released weekly are at least an hour long.. so I do enjoy this podcast, but I also feel disappointed at the same time.
Not really a reader via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/24/23
This is well researched and the episodes are interesting but with each being 20 minutes, and released weekly the pace is slow like molasses. They should make longer episodes or release more often.

My mother was a Port Authority of NY/NJ employee working in 1WTC. I worked in 1WFC for American Express. Every day we enjoyed spending lunch time together. Until now the 1993 bombing has barely been mentioned in American history. I still have nightmares about that day. I remember the explosion I...Read full review »

This podcast was so well done. The sound effects and story writing were excellent and truly depicted a harrowing story. I was very impressed by the accents and music. Recommend listening to this and never forgetting this attack on our humanity.

Excellent documentary style pod. Well researched and each episode keeps you on edge waiting for the next one. Recommended, as is their Unabomber pod.

Everything Marc Smerling touches turns to gold and this pod (so far) is no exception. Aside from the quality of the work, from a substantive standpoint, it is yet another example of much we knew about the 9/11 attackers for *years* in advance. We had these guys in our sights and we took our eye...Read full review »

Info and story are good, but how are you going to release one 20 minute episode a week with 3 minutes of ads to cut into that? Dumb. Weekly episode release is ridiculous with that short of episodes…or else it would be 4 stars

Love this method of story telling. I need to pace myself on the episodes. I am waiting on the edge of my seat.

This story hasn’t been told a lot so it’s a lot of new information to me… so I’m very intrigued. Great re-enactments. I often forget it’s not the real witnesses being interviewed.

You can’t beat a podcast that comes first hand from those involved. No filler in this podcast of opinions and nonsense. Great job to those involved.

Interesting insight into the events around the first bombing of the world trade centre. Worth a listen although really it’s an article spread out over four episodes and doesn’t get into the nitty gritty of the ramsi yousef story. Feels like the makers tried to make this a deep dig into the full...Read full review »

The lag time between each episode is ridiculously long. And then the latest episode to drop is 20 minutes!? I listened to The History Channel’s podcast Blindspot which covered this topic and the historical/cultural lead up to 9/11. I think I’ll just go back and listen to that investigation again!
