This is one of my absolute favourite podcasts. Cait delves into some difficult topics with such calm, kindness and grace. The most soothing background noises and voice. I leave every episode with having learned something tangible I can bring into my life.

Cait is a refreshing voice to listen to as she dives into real topics. I appreciate the vulnerability and the rawness of the episodes! Great podcast

This is a really low key and relaxing podcast to listen to. I like to listen while walking outdoors, and listening to Cait’s unscripted musings makes me feel like I’m walking with a friend. I also enjoy the outdoor sounds of birds, wind and ocean that are in the background. If you are looking to...Read full review »

Really soothing mix of background noise and Cait’s voice, with frequent conversational pauses and breaks. Perfect length for my commute too!

This is the podcast that helped me out the most this year in terms of staying grounded, being involved in heathy self-care routines and making sure I connect with likeminded people that share similar experiences. Cait makes you feel like you are friends even though you may have never met and I...Read full review »

I love this podcast. I love how it is recorded in nature and the way Cait allows spaces between sentences to allow the bird sounds and other nature sounds to be heard and enjoyed. Highly recommended.

I love that this is not rehearsed, not overproduced and raw. The pace and background sounds make you pause and intuitive slow yourself down and think. I love Cait’s books and this podcast! It’s a reminder to be intentional and don’t be so hard on yourself. 💜

This podcast is gold. I was sold as soon as I heard the background with nature. Adding in Cait’s soothing voice and honest thoughts is a winning combination. I love that the podcast is so pure... no strategy, no pressure, no production, no hype. Just slow living and thought-provoking dialogue....Read full review »

I find myself slowing down or stopping altogether when I’m listening to this. Love the little pauses where you can almost hear Cait think and the background nature-noise. Feels like a genuine conversation.

It really does feel very intimate. Just a one on one conversation with Cait. A nice slow pace and time out of the quick paced perfection elsewhere on the internet. Looking forward to seeing where Cait goes with it.

Love the relaxed and open feeling of this podcast. After listening to Cait for years, she feels like an older sister who is warm, insightful, and who helps you to be gentle with yourself when learning from life’s experiences. I’m sure new listeners will find Cait’s approach to life and podcasting...Read full review »

Cait Flanders' content is an automatic for me, as in whatever she writes, records, and shares is something I automatically consume because I know I'll enjoy it! She is thoughtful, insightful, kind, smart, and honest. When she says, "Hi, friend!" at the beginning of her...Read full review »

Ever since hearing Cait’s audiobook “The Year of Less”, I’ve wanted to hear more from her - ESPECIALLY during what’s been a really difficult year thanks to the pandemic. I’ve only just finished the first episode of “Opting Out” and my soul is already soothed by Cait’s voice and the sound of...Read full review »

Cait has created a calm and refreshing experience with this podcast. She inspires me to create in ways that are speaking to me now and to accept that it’s ok to let go of what fit a year ago, but doesn’t currently resonate.

Cait has a lovely laugh. Hi, friend!

You’re right, this isn’t like any podcast I’ve ever heard. It’s more like going out(side) for coffee, or on a hike with your thoughtful friend. The one with the warm smile and quick laugh who listens more than speaks, but when she does? Her words make you light up and feel loved and seen. This is...Read full review »

This podcast is simple and amazing. If you’ve read either or both of Cait’s books, you’re going to love how her friendly, conversational tone carries over into audio. It will calm you and inspire you. I can’t wait to see where she takes us!

This is a great little podcast- the perfect length in my opinion it’s just like sitting with a friend for a picnic stop. I can’t wait to see how it develops. 👍

At a time when there seems to be an endless supply of new podcasts to sample, this one stands out for its refreshing take on self reflection, and unedited authenticity. Felt like a genuine conversation with birds on my end and waves on the other. A relaxing and simple pleasure. Also realized how the podcast industry has become so overproduced. This was not that!
