GRANGER SMITH | Leading and Living Well in the Face of Extreme Adversity
Listen now
Description
Gentlemen, there is so much negativity, hostility, and vitriol in the world today. It’s unfortunate because even in the most difficult of circumstances there is so much to be positive about and grateful for. And, as we look for and embrace those factors, life becomes so much more rewarding and fulfilling. Today, I am joined by country music artist, Granger Smith (we also talk about his alter-ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr.) to talk gratitude, juggling all of our duties and responsibilities, and attaching the right (and empowering) meaning to events. We also talk about the tragic loss of Granger’s son and how he continues to lead his family through one of the most difficult situations imaginable – losing a child. SHOW HIGHLIGHTS Granger’s new upcoming video Benefiting from hard work Overcoming negativity  Developing a successful career Managing at a larger level Getting asked the right question Harnessing social media Having a grateful attitude  Living in the moment How to juggle life Balancing grief and loss The support of a community Assigning meaning to your work  Not taking life too seriously  GRANGER SMITH Gents, my guest today is an absolutely incredible man. His name is Granger Smith. He is an extremely successful country music artist, host of the Granger Smith podcast, and co-creator of his alter-ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr., the spokesman for his clothing apparel company Yee Yee Apparel. I’ve been following Granger for years now and I had always been impressed with his positivity and outlook on life and, after our conversation today, I am even more so. We talk about so much today. His positivity, energy, and excitement for life is infectious and it makes me want to be a better man myself. I think it will for you too. IRON COUNCIL Having men in your corner cannot be overstated.
