Postapocalyptic Propaganda at its finest
If you like steampunk, postapocalypse, zombies, timetravelers, mad scientists, science fiction, propaganda, comedy, mole people, witty dialogue and an amazing array of diverse characters - this is exactly the audiodrama for you. Absolutely superb wirting, acting and audio engineering, Our Fair City is an ambitious work of art. I have to admit that the first episode was very hard to follow along through, and I had to make several attempts to keep up- but once you got through the first epsiode, everything else is a breeze to cut through. This is really my only critique point, the first episode (aka season 1) was not terrible - in retrospect and once you're immersed into the world, everything about it makes sense. But it is just a whole lot to take into, in addition to a very large cast and at least 3 different storylines to follow. In addition to this, at least two of the characters are not very well distinguishable and their characters act in the same scene. This is very unfortunate and hard to follow through. If you're having trouble, I advice you to visit OFC's official website and check out the transcript of the episode there, it helps enourmously to keep up with the storylines :) Other than that, I still will not cease to recommend this to anyone I meet, especially strangers on the street.Read full review »

I'm a fickler for good audio quality. Story of course but the quality of audio makes that much of a difference. This dystopian society they have created is unique and superb. Definitely binged through it all and now I want more. Great job guys. Will be buying the novels and supporting the site.Read full review »

I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this podcast. The story line is fantastic, the voice acting superb. I try to describe it to anyone and sound like a blithering idiot - it's that good. Trust me.Read full review »
