Interesting and informative
The podcast is at its best when dealing with pseudo history like the Templars and 1421 (both excellent), but it is wobbly on historical controversies like the Renaissance: oh dear it’s not clear when the Renaissance started and ended….historians can’t/don’t want to agree on when the (insert: Industrial Revolution, twentieth century etc) started and ended, so it is difficult take periodisation arguments seriously. Some episodes take too long to get to the point - I sometimes lose interest during the intro (for example I didn’t make it through a recent episode on Galileo). But overall worth following.
