Bravo to the framing by the middle aged white woman. I'm past middle age and love this podcast. Each character speaks from his or her experience and their insights are thoughtful and novel to me. Their comments are expressed with freshness and humor. All are gifted communicators. I have learned much more texture about the positives and negatives of busing. The explanation of the police "as a paramilitary organization" which follows its leaders has been a helpful frame as I react to unending police killings. I now hear the police leaders saying police violence against citizens is the way it is "because it serves my purposes for it to be the way it is".Read full review »
