“I saw these three at the Brooklyn Historical Society last November and remember them saying that they were working on a podcast about race! I loved them then and more so now, especially Raquel. No other podcast looks at race in America outside of a Black and white lens which is mad boring. As a secondish-generation Latina like Raquel Cepeda, I finally felt like I was invited to sit at the table, if you will, and take part in the convo. She expresses herself in a way that mixes street lingo with academic speak, something we rarely hear in the mainstream. I love the way Tanner Colby and Baratunde Thurston, whose books I bought at the BK Historical event, and LOVED, interact with Raquel and each other. Give these three a TV show already!!!!!”
