Our Song Forever Parkwood Worship

Special Guest Jarod Espy sits down to talk with Pastor Chad and Pastor Micah about worship leadership, songwriting, and an afternoon spent writing together that started the project "Our Song Forever." The trio will talk about the song "Our Liberty" and how this song was created and became the first song recorded for the Parkwood Worship Album.

Pastor Chad is joined by his wife, Dawn Pollard, for an extraordinary podcast. Dawn and Chad talk about the song "My Soul Longs for You," a lament song that they co-wrote with Micah Moffitt. Dawn talks openly about her struggles with mental and physical health. Chad and Dawn also talk about the importance of lament in corporate worship.

Pastor Chad is joined by Jacob Hess, who is a worship leader and worship staff member in the ministry development ministry at Parkwood. Pastor Chad talks with Jake about his song "You Are My Guide." which is based on Psalm 23. Jake also talks openly about moving across the country to be developed as a worship leader.

The writers explain finding this text and the process of putting the hymn text to music. Micah and Chad also briefly talk about the value of considering ancient text for modern worship.
