Information, inspiration and entertainment for the climate conscious
Outrage and Optimism is just an amazing podcast. It’s hosts, including the architects of the 2015 Paris agreement Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac, manage to strike the perfect balance for which the podcast is named by consistently and plainly reporting the scale of the threats we face as a direct result of the climate crisis, while at the same time providing the inspiration to face them with stubborn optimism and determination. Along with a fantastic variety of distinguished guests from across a broad spectrum of politics and backgrounds, they manage to do all this in a way that is often hilarious and always enjoyable to listen to. If you are in any way affected by the climate crisis (which you are), you need to subscribe to this podcast. While you’re at it, buy the book The Future We Choose and subscribe to the newsletter Signals Amidst the Noise, which are also brilliant! Thank you to everyone involved in making this podcast. You are saving the world.
