“Never thought it would find a place among my other weekly listens, but “Outrage and Optimism” somehow broke through and got me hooked. I certainly care a whole lot about the topic (action on climate change) but listening to an hour-long episode each week at first seemed a bit much. This podcast, however, is consistently illuminating, often uplifting, and dare I say, frequently fun! I enjoy each segment of the show — the groovy theme music, the pre-interview chat among Cristiana, Tom, and Paul (always thoughtful, often witty), the interview itself (usually fascinating), the post-interview debriefing (always astute), the musical selection (usually well-chosen and worth a listen), and Clay’s show notes (funny and full of ideas for further listening). So, I’ve become a fan of the show, and love having it on while I vacuum indoors or do yard work outside. I’ve even shared especially good episodes with family and friends. Keep up the good work, O”
