“Look. The story laid out here is gripping. The format is infuriating. Ad breaks what feels like every two minutes. This could have been one two hour podcast and it would have CRUSHED. As it is you get about 20 minutes of content in a 40 minute episode.
I don’t think anyone actually likes the tinkly music and personal musings of the hosts. I get that this seems popular with the NPR crowd but it drives me up a wall.
It’s a truly interesting chain of events but I would recommend giving this telling of it a miss. Wait until Casefile or some other less pretentious podcast picks it up.”
