Never miss this podcast
Update: This podcast is a literal lifeline for me in today’s political world. If you want to listen to smart, thoughtful women talk about the issues of the day (and the issues that might be invisible to you) this podcast is a great place to invest your time. Original review (all still true): Until I found this podcast, I had actively given up on politics in our country (and possibly America...). But I love hearing from two women who do care about our politics and our government talk about things in a reasonable way. They are SO smart about everything! Some of the things I love about the podcast - They are articulate and passionate about their liberal/conservative viewpoint, but recognize that there are valid reasons to be "on the other side." They make a point to compliment the "other side." They do bring nuance to a lot of issues that tend to get lost in rhetoric and hoopla from other places. I think they also do a great job of putting these political issues in the context of their lives as mothers/workers/aspiring politicians/leaders - I think that helps me as a listener remember that politics isn't about a certain party winning/losing, but about us coming together as Americans to make life better for everyone. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I do!Read full review »

This podcast deserves 7 stars for what it is, but it loses a couple for its production values. I hope it spawns a new genre of political podcasts and a new way to discuss politics.
