This is fastly becoming my favorite podcast. I love that it takes us to all these beautiful and sometimes historical parks, but reminds us to be attentive and aware no matter where you go. Something could be lurking in the most pristine of places. Love Delia’s narrating style.

I like the material but Delia's grammar leaves a lot to be desired and it can be offputting. And I don't know any other podcaster who says "it's not clear from the source material but ...." as much as she does. I think I better just not listen to her anymore and then I...Read full review »

Delia has such a great podcasting voice - no vocal fry! 🙌 She’s intelligent and doesn’t interject her opinions like so many do. Great stories. One of my fave podcasts. Well done.

I love the idea of taking cases that happened at different parks/forests. My husband and I visit a lot of the places covered in cases and it’s definitely sobering knowing some of these places have such dark events take place.

Decently entertaining. The host does way too much speculating. “I imagine” is a qualifier she loves to use, which doesn’t exactly encourage the listener as to the accuracy of her research.

I enjoy this podcast but I don’t want to hear new lingo like sus instead of suspicious. I know it’s stupid to be annoyed about, but I don’t think middle and high school slang needs to be included in EVERYTHING. They’ll be okay hearing real words.

Twinklr14 I would like to respond to your mean hearted comment. I can tell you are the type of person who likes to Complain. If you aren't a park enthusiast then why are you here? This show is from the same people who produce Crime Junkie. It's not an attempt to copy it. If you...Read full review »

I’ve only just found the podcast and so far I’m loving it. The stories are interesting and well researched, good mix of old and recent cases, Delia is very easy to listen to and you can hear Ashley’s style in the script which I like too. If people can’t keep up with the speed how do they keep up...Read full review »

I like the show….probably because I do a lot of hiking and photography. AND the new theme song has that Ennio Morricone feel, which is pretty awesome 👍 And to the person whining about not being park enthusiasts, speak for yourself.

Stories are okay and I don’t mind the voice, tone or speed. But I have a hard time with filler words and phrases. “And I mean” “but I can only imagine”. “Well I’m not 100% sure” “ya know?” “But anyway” We aren’t chatting, just move on to the next sentence.

Delia presents the facts with empathy for the victims and their loved ones. It is a great combination and very well done. It is really easy to listen to, even if some of the stories are harrowing. Very clear on source material and factual information makes further self studies, not only possible,...Read full review »

I know advertisements are how podcasts earn income, and they’re necessary to keep going, but the sheer amount of commercials/ads in these episodes genuinely deters from my enjoyment.

So glad you’re back!! Love this podcast but I have to say not crazy about the new intro music:( I thought the other one was great! Still love the podcast! Keep up the great work!

Overall, fine. My gripes are: 1. Park enthusiasts? What? We aren’t. We are true crime enthusiasts. This is a lazy attempt to simply duplicate Crime Junkies, but at least that applies. Try harder maybe. 2. Delia’s voice. 3. The writing/grammar. What the eff…

Love this show. The stories are very interesting and informative. I don’t love the theme song as much as the original version. My only complaint!

Love the updated theme song!

I love the subject matter of Park Predators but Delia’s grammar is atrocious. In one episode, she used the word deprived instead of depraved to describe a killer’s behavior. I can’t trust an investigator whose grammar is poor.

These stores are well articulated and honor the victims lives. I appreciate the investigative journaling work. My only complaint is that if o have to pause it or stop the story for awhile, it will not resume! I don’t have this issue with any other audiochuck productions, or any other podcast for...Read full review »

Delia does such a great job of storytelling. I look forward to each episode. (*As a resident of the Central Valley in California, I would also like to add how much I appreciate “Visalia” and “Tulare” being pronounced correctly!!!) Well done Delia. Keep up the excellent work!

Too many quote, end quote, quote end quote. Unnecessarily overused and spoils the narrative continuity. Im baffled why the host thinks it’s clever to use this. Leave it for real news correspondents when reporting important legal documents and statements… Podcasts can be like documentaries,...Read full review »

I’m updating my review because I’m starting to not like this one. Why the “quote” “unquote” constantly?!!! Why cite all the sources during the podcast?! If we want to we’ll look them up!! Another thing that bothers me is the words she uses, like “stuff” instead of “items” or “belongings” etc....Read full review »

Not that great, stories used to be more park centric, now they seem to be only loosely connected to the crime. Oh well, on to the next one.

I love this podcast and I’m so happy that there are new episodes every week. I loved the original song but I also love the new song. It takes you on a little journey before the episode. Keep up the great work, Delia!

In one of the last episodes, the line ‘as reported by BBC news’ and ‘as reported in The Guardian’ must have been used, i don’t know- 20odd times?? I get that the host wants to include where she got the info from, but seriously- one time is enough. It was so painful to listen to. The cases from...Read full review »

But lately, I am bored. Not necessarily the cases but maybe the pace and tone of Delia’s voice is very monotone. The ways the stories are told, I tend to I easily tune out. I find the National Park After Dark podcast much more entertaining.
kexpensivest via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/31/24
Good story telling and investigating, but I just can’t listen to the host’s voice. It just makes me fall asleep, too monotone. I feel like these would be good to read.
Natasha_noir via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/30/24
I love Delia’s reporting but I wish she wouldn’t use phrases like “super clear.” It sounds juvenile. I love Park Predators but I hate hearing Ashley’s obnoxious, egotistical voice.

I love this show, been listening for a while and just heard Ashley Flowers announce it went weekly! Delia is an amazing investigative reporter and her stories are always interesting. I love the park aspect. I spend a lot of time in nature and we always assume it’ll be safe.

I hate when I run out of material because I listen to her right before I go to bed. I also wonder what happened to the whistle! I don’t like the new theme music nearly as much.

Been listening to this podcast for awhile, interesting cases covered, and am excited it now has weekly episodes. I enjoy these stories, but like others find the pace fairly quick for story telling. This isn’t a criticism, but rather just my curiosity: why mention race as often as you do? It’s usually mentioned when not relevant, both for white and black people or suspects. I understand when you’re...Read full review »

This is a great story but narrator is hard to follow. Sounds like she is just reading. Very monotone and matter of fact. Boring.

The new music layered into the content over Delia talking is distracting, incongruent, and annoying.
