As others have said, Paul asks the same scripted questions and it sometimes makes him seem to not listen to what has been said. For example, the interviewee may say that a walk helps to clear their head, then later he’ll ask them what they do to make themselves happy. On a positive note, there...Read full review »

Tried this podcast for the first time today. Paul is a really great host: engaging and insightful. He listens to his guests and asks wonderful follow-up questions during the discussions. I’ll be listening to more episodes while I’m working from home. Thanks, Paul!

Having enjoyed Nadya, Chopra, Southgate, Robbins, to name just a few, it is over time that I thank the team for this show. Positivity is what we all need now and this show delivers this elusive sentiment with practical and thoughtful commentary. Hard work, resilience, and passion (and walking...Read full review »

Paul McKenna is a great interviewer and a genuinely nice person. I’m a big fan of his books and his contribution to NLP and hypnosis. My favourite episode so far is the one with Jon Ronson (No 30).

Thanks to Paul there’s something positive to tune into amongst the deafening noise of corona fear mongering, wokeness and paranoia. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you! Great line up of individuals who made something out of their lives, lived the highs and been through deep downs. Fun, light,...Read full review »

Really good guests with often similar answers to Paul’s set of scripted questions. I find because of the repeated questions to each guest I got bored. Occasionally a big character would deviate after being asked a question which would be interesting because it was a much more natural dialogue...Read full review »

McKenna is a surprisingly terrible interviewer, very wooden and he actually reads from scripted questions where you can clearly see the clumsy join. But the guests are good and interesting despite of McKenna’s style so 4 stars.

Only found this at the start of 2021 and have spend the last couple of months catching up. Ultimately it’s the same set of questions asked to people of interest. That is 78 (so far) different sets of answers. Different peoples perceptions and opinions are fascinating and I believe PMcK brings out...Read full review »

Listened to the Priyanka Chopra episode and it was so good. Feel all calm and less anxious. So thank you so much for that. Great tips and great perspective. There such a huge back catalogue so can’t wait to get stuck in!

This would be a much better world if more people would read “The 7 Habits of highly effective people” instead of looking up to Simon Cowell

I really enjoy listening to each episode and find it so interesting to hear how so many of the guests share a similar mindset i.e. stop caring about what other people think, believe in yourself and just go for it! I don’t think that’s a coincidence. Learning so much that I can apply to my own...Read full review »

Good guests, probably a lot of Paul’s mates. It’s a weird podcast. Heavily edited. Paul rattles off questions with no conversation and the sound recording is all over the place.

I like this podcast and Paul has original guests but sticking to the same questions all the time gets a bit dull. I think he could go deeper on some of the responses but seems too keen to tick off the next question on the list sometimes
