PIMA mostly admired
During the pandemic lockdowns, everyone found their own ways to adjust and cope with the strange reality surrounding us. We were like people within earthbound spaceships. Podcasts like this have helped to connect to some of the great minds all around the world. Despite his modesty about it, Levitt’s podcast from its early time starting up and learning a bit on air to today has been wonderful for its candor, vulnerability, and earnest aim to understand the world and make it a little better through clearer understanding and frequently great morals/advice.

Levitt works best when he is a contrarian, going against a commonly held view. But this show is set up so he speaks to people he likes, and presumably mostly agrees with, or at least respects, so it runs the risk of being too cosy. This is my new favorite podcast. It’s smart, not self-indulgent, and the guests are fascinating. Levitt seems like a great guy and it’s fun to hang out with him for an hour.
