A bit too cosy
Levitt works best when he is a contrarian, going against a commonly held view. But this show is set up so he speaks to people he likes, and presumably mostly agrees with, or at least respects, so it runs the risk of being too cosy. The episode with Moncef Slaoui is a good example, with no challenge or pushing back on some problematic aspects of Operation Warp Speed.

More reviews of People I (Mostly) Admire
I appreciate the genuine nature of the conversation. I love have Levitt seems to use the interview to get information for himself more so than make it “podcast worthy”
