I end up taking notes on every single episode. This is what thoughtful, theologically-based Christian conversation looks like. I am more impressed with the episodes that DON'T resolve than the ones that do. These women draw you into the almost unicorn-like space that doesn't seem to exist in our...Read full review »

Theological depth meets cultural relevance with these two ladies. Great podcast for men and women.

I so appreciate Erin and Hannah's intelligent and conversational take on real-time topics of faith and culture. I'll be thinking about something one day, and sure enough, they'll come out with an episode on that very topic, often giving me more to ponder and reflect on. Thank you, ladies, for...Read full review »

I needed to take a break from the bleak world of politics and that's when I started listening to Persuasion. Kind of like sweet and salty, it's the perfect combination of levity and seriousness.

Fantastic podcast that really speaks to topics relevant to our culture today. Really glad I found this podcast. After listening to the podcast, I can see continuing the discussion with many of my friends.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to podcast; I would usually rather sit in silence then have something on that seems to be going no where and I thoroughly enjoy Persuasion. I tend to agree with many of the other reviewers, most content put out there for "christian women" is fluffy and hard for me...Read full review »

I appreciate that CaPC made sure to feature a female-hosted podcast that wasn't specifically a "women's podcast." While quality varies from episode to episode, this 'cast is always interesting and engaging.

I love this podcast so much. It is thought provoking and deep in a way I find really rare and so refreshing. They somehow are able to address the conversations I have in my head but struggle to articulate out loud. They do it with clarity, humor, and accessibility.

There isn't another podcast like this. I've been listening from the first episode (mostly because I love Hannah Anderson's writing) and I've found this podcast to be consistently engaging as it takes on a wide range of topics (some rather unexpected!) and brings up questions that I'm not hearing...Read full review »

Persuasion is, as it states a podcast, “where fine ladies, rational minds, and the best kind of company gathers to discuss pertinent ideas and issues.” Erin and Hannah achieve this by engaging with a wide variety of culturally and theologically relevant topics in a way that allows them to connect...Read full review »

But, no, seriously, this isn't just for--or about--women. Erin and Hannah are phenomenal hosts, and I love their unique perspectives on pop culture. Give it a listen!

Hannah and Erin are brilliant, gracious, strong, insightful women who consistently discuss challenging topics with nuance and a desire for the truth in love. I never miss an episode :). Oh, and it's not just for women!

This is a very good conversation on deep topics. This is not a 'women's podcast' although they do address women's issues at times. But this is a podcast that focuses on the difficult nuanced reality of the world. The episode on the election was one of the best takes on the elction that I have...Read full review »

I love listening to this podcast. It offers an interesting and new perspective on super important topics. When Hannah and Erin talk about something, I pay attention. This show made me angry when I first started listenign to it. "Just what we need, another women's progressive think tank show!". Yeah, this is not that show.
