Annoying imprecision of thought and speech
Overall, I was disappointed. Some of these podcasts ARE great. Great guest, great ideas and clear communication of thought. Very enjoyable. However, the effectiveness and interest of FAR too many episodes is SERIOUSLY marred by amazingly imprecise speech and muddled thinking, from both host and guest. Very uneven quality of speech and thought from one show to the next. Surprisingly hit-and-miss. Quite strange. Just too much trouble digging through the varying degrees of confusion and imprecision of many of these shows to find the occasionally satisfying one. And one other thing. I really, really don't wish to be rude, Nigel, but please learn how to pronounce the letter "R". It's not that difficult. Everytime you say, for example, "poof" instead of "proof," I cringe. It really became annoying to me after a few shows. Sorry.Read full review »

The subjects are diverse and discussions are kept on topic. The host gets right to the point in the questions. The length is perfect for my drive to school and walk from the parking lot to my building. I am a PhD student in theology so I love having this resource available on iTunes!
