satisfying and scarifying
I usually prefer to read news stories, but this one sucked me in. Liked the physical detail of the chute in Ep 2 - Lorne is a practical man, like myself. The hippie grandma put me off a bit but she came good at the funeral. Felt for the poor father, reading those poems - some of them were surprisingly good. And what a stuff up by the cops - why? Seems ridiculous they didn't even take the CCTV. The boyfriend sounds a prat - would have liked to hear him properly interviewed. As for Natalie, what a goer. All up, this series has been complex and satisfying, and though the journos sound close to Phoebe's family I feel it is balanced. Just hope we get some answers in next ep as to why they called it a tragic accident. Really?? Poor Phoebe.Read full review »

More reviews of Phoebe's Fall
Great job by The Age, Baker & Bachelard. More news like this please! The Guardian do podcasts of their long form articles - something similar would be a fantastic addition for The Age & would be extremely popular worldwide.
